I’ve always told myself, I’m not nostalgic. I don’t have any particular attachment for yesterday.

Until I caught myself yesterday, on a beautiful rainy evening, telling myself, this is just how it used to be. And realised that every good feeling now, links back to good memories of yore

So #NoteToSelf :

• it’s ok. nostalgia is good mostly
• in the humdrum of the daily grind, look for moments of joy
• sometimes take the time out to actively go experience new, novel things
• be present. appreciate today for what it gives you.
• and if you keep going back. be grateful for the good memories. just don’t get stuck there
