I made a house of houselessness,
A garden of your going:
And seven trees of seven wounds
You gave me, all unknowing:
I made a feast of golden grief
That you so lordly left me,
I made a bed of all the smiles
Whereof your lip bereft me:
I made a sun of your delay,
Your daily loss, his setting:
I made a wall of all your words
And a lock of your forgetting.

How many mystery writers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two! One to change the bulb, and the other to give it an unexpected twist at the end!

Nine sources of advantage:
- Raw talent/intelligence - Some people are just naturally better and smarter.
- Hard work - Some people work harder.
- Differentiation - Seeing the world differently. Doing something different. Reading different books. Interpreting the same information differently.
- Process / Discipline - Creating a process and following it. Working out every day is a great example.
- Talent Collector - The ability to hire the best people and get the most out of them.
- Patience - A lack of patience changes the outcome.
- Ability to take pain - Are you willing to look like an idiot to get better? How much risk are you willing to take, AND, importantly, can you handle the losses?
- Temperament - Keeping your head when everyone else is losing theirs.
- Luck
Most of these are within your control.

Tried configuring a network connected printer on two #Linux machines this past week. One unnamed and the other @linuxmint.
The unnamed machine took nearly a day to configure, with looking up packages and ports and HCL lists and driver packages and what not.
#LinuxMint on the other hand went, “Hello there, you have a printer on the network! Want to print to it? Also that thing’s got a scanner too, want to be able to use it? Done and done!”
Took all of 5 seconds.
Thank you @linuxmint

There are two types of men in the world:
those that love Linda Ronstadt,
and those that never heard of her

- A bar was walked into by the passive voice.
- A malapropism walks into a bar, looking for all intensive purposes like a wolf in cheap clothing, muttering epitaphs and casting dispersions on his magnificent other, who takes him for granite.
- Papyrus and Comic Sans walk into a bar. The bartender says, “Get out — we don’t serve your type.”
- A hyphenated word and a non-hyphenated word walk into a bar and the bartender nearly chokes on the irony
