Not as much head scratching involved, while making the plan, compared to yesterday.
I know I’m supposed to keep weekends loose, but I’m kinda making a pseudo plan today filled with loosey goosey stuff to do.

“Coca would also get an endorsement from an unlikely place: Vatican City. During the Great Binge, one notable drink in circulation was the Vin Mariani, an alcoholic beverage that combined both wine and cocaine and received endorsements from not one, but two popes. The popular concoction contained about 6 milligrams of cocaine per ounce, and Pope Leo XIII even allowed his face to be used in Vin Mariani’s marketing campaign. He was very much a brand ambassador, citing that it strengthened him “when prayer was insufficient”. The Papal endorsement led it to become many a religious leader’s drink of choice. In the secular world, the Belle Epoque’s most famous names, Sarah Bernhardt, Jules Verne and even Queen Victoria were all fans of the drug-infused cocktail that would spend the following century cleaning up its act to become the world’s most iconic household brand: Coca Cola (more on that here).”

“Silicon Valley, despite being a supposed hub of innovation, one separated from the garish demands of regular industries, has culturally grown to resemble an open-air private equity firm where companies are incubated like animals bred for slaughter.”

Ok done for the day. Shutdown complete ✅
Cognition takes a precipitous dive post 6p.
best served for light reading / iterating / noodling
Energy highest in the morn. Tackle hard tasks then.
Doing this makes me a lot more self aware and intentional.
the plan got borked thrice in the day.
At least this time I got to be intentional about what I would do / ditch / delegate / postpone
And everything got captured, so my mind’s empty
It’s not natural doing this. And a bit hard.
So I’ll probably keep doing these, until the process becomes second nature.

#Math #Fediverse, I want to self study #DiscreteMathematics using Susanna Epp’s textbook.
- How long would a newbie take to learn this material? I’m going to give it an hour a day. And I’m in no hurry. Persistence over Pressure with this one
- If I have questions, is there a place folk like me can go ask? other than spewing them out here in the void?
